elders in rural India live alone or with only a spouse — many without a monthly pension they are legally entitled to.
Old age in rural India is often invisible. We bring medicines, cataract and mobility camps, and monthly ration and warmth kits to elders living alone — and just as importantly, we bring company. Our volunteers sit, listen, read, and help elders claim the pensions and entitlements that are already theirs.
