I grew up in a small town in Rajasthan, where the wind carries both dust and prayer. My grandfather — “Nana” — used to say that the truest wealth is the meal you share, not the one you eat alone. Tavasmi was born from that single, quiet lesson.
We are not a charity in the old sense. We do not arrive, hand out, and leave. We sit on the same floor. We eat the same food. We listen first and act second. The Sanskrit word Tavasmi means “I am yours” — and we mean it the way a brother means it to a sister, or a neighbour to a neighbour in need.
Every rupee you offer here is tracked, accounted, and returned to the field as service. Every volunteer hour goes toward a child reading, a mother healing, a farmer rising. Nothing here is performance. Everything here is promise.
